Mace is best known for making the Original Pepper Spray, but they also carry a wide range of other pepper sprays and security & video products. To build awareness of the breadth of their product line, I designed the homepage to feature a series of personal stories, each of which speaks to a different product line, demographic and use scenario. Each story makes an emotional connection, and the positive outcomes reinforce Mace’s commitment to safety and protection.
From an architecture standpoint, the site was overhauled to group products more logically according to use scenario, rather than product family. A carousel was added to the top of product family pages to further build awareness of the entire product line.
